Harry Potter was awesome

Seeing the 6th movie at midnight was a fun and interesting experience. My little cousin loved it but had to have alot of sugar to stay awake through 2 hours.

I need to go back and reread the book so that I can better compare the book and the movie. But by far, this was one of the best if not the best movie. It was way better than the 5th. It had everything that a movie should have: some relationships, action, humor, and mystery. I was never bored.

The only problem now is that I can't wait for the next one to come out. I wish they would come out closer together instead of having a year in between. I will probably see this one at least a couple more times.

Now that I have seen Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, I will try to go back and reread all of the books. Hopefully, J.K. Rowling will write some more. In order to avoid giving away the plot, I will just say that in this movie, the true colors of the characters come out whether for good or for evil.

Ready for a break

I am ready to be done with all my summer classes. I have one more test, a final and a project left. Then it is off to Branson for some much needed relaxation.

I am excited to be starting a new chapter in my life. 2 more years and I will be a registered nurse!

Harry Potter 6 is finally here! I cannot wait to see it at midnight!

I am so glad that I am not a mother yet. This past Sunday, I had a child that I think had never heard the word "no". I needed a straightjacket and some medication. I had to try to hold him in the time out chair while doing a craft with the other kids.

I am so glad that I decided to change my hair. It is blonder, shorter, and so much easier to fix. I just wish that I could keep one stylist. Everytime I go to someone once, they either leave, retire, or I don't like the haircut. I am going to someone new yet again in a few weeks. Hopefully, everything goes well.

My family is going to start visiting different churches and I pray that we will find the right fit. A church is never perfect, but we hope to find one that meets our needs.

Just for fun

I have watched a few movies lately. First, I rented passengers with Anne Hathaway and Patrick Wilson. It was very strange and completely unrealistic. Then I watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. It made me cry and was also completely unrealistic. Just when I thought that movies were never going to come close to real life, I watched He's Just Not That Into You. It was depressingly true. As girls, we are fed the line from birth that when boys do mean things to us, it is because they like us. But sometimes they are just being mean because they are mean.

To venture from the depressing, I saw The Proposal with Sandra Bullock, Betty White, and Ryan Reynolds. It was hilarious especially Betty White's character. She was the typical funny old grandma. The movie was great because it made me laugh, then cry, then laugh again. However, marrying someone just to keep from being deported is pretty far-fetched.

On a different and more serious note:

My family needs a lot of prayer. My grandpa is having knee problems. My aunt and uncle's divorce is complicated. I am also having serious knee problems. I have had pain in my left knee for about 10 months. I went to physical therapy, but basically the doctors cannot figure out the problem. The other day it felt like something snapped in my knee. It hurt so bad. I will probably go in and have some more X-rays. I am also struggling with making a decision regarding church. Sometimes, I feel like a complete stranger at my church even though I have been attending for about 13 years. I am really confused as to whether I should stay or go somewhere else. Please pray.

Presession Class Done

So my first class is finally over. I turned in my 8 page essay on Human Cloning. Then I found out my grade an hour later (teacher never read my paper-boo). Next is Nutrition on Monday. Sounds exhilirating. I love not having a summer, not. But after classes, I will get to go on a little vacation and then its back to school to start nursing classes.

I am also starting to teach a class at my church this Sunday. I will have all the 3 and 4 year olds. I am excited. Little kids are so cute. I hope that I will be well prepared each week. I hope that I will be able to communicate on their level and that they will enjoy coming to church. It's so hard when kids only come every once in a while because their parents aren't Christians.

In about 3 weeks, I will turn 20. Everyone else believes I will be turning 12. I don't feel any different. By the way, a quiz I took on facebook said that I am going to be 6 feet tall. What a joke. I am exactly 5 feet tall and now the shortest one in my family. My baby cousin loves being taller than me when I have shoes on.
